My name is Katy and I'm a 20-something girl from the south of England, UK (Maidstone in Kent to be precise).
I feel that the term 'photographer' is used a little too liberally so instead I prefer to think of myself as just another girl with a camera.
I hope to use this blog to talk about photography, inspiration, my ever growing collection of cameras and I will be posting photos I have taken. You can click to see my flickr page and I also have a website.

I use a Nikon D90 for all my digital work. Any photos uploaded prior to September 2012 were taken using a Nikon D40. Lens wise I switch between an 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6, an 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6 and a 50mm f/1.8. I use Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Elements 6.0 to edit all my photos.
Currently, for film work I use a Fisheye, Diana Mini, Holga 135, Canon Sure Shot (compact film camera), and an Actionsampler. I also have a panoramic camera, an Olympus OM10 and a Kodak Brownie. I'm constantly expanding my collection of film cameras, and am a self-confessed Lomography addict.
I have a separate portfolio dedicated to my film photography which can be found here, and, as always, more recent uploads will be found on my flickr page.
