May

I'm rather behind with photo uploading lately, so rather than bore you with a billion unnecessary posts I thought I'd just post all my photos in here. I've got a separate post full of Rome photos coming up too :)

This is what I've been up to over the past couple of weeks.

On the 3rd May I saw my beloved Blood Red Shoes in London.
It was my 25th time seeing them live and they still manage to amaze me.

I haven't really been able to explore much due to the fact it WON'T STOP RAINING and I had tonsillitis last week. However, I did go on one pretty nice walk.

Making the most of the blue skies while they last.

Next week I'll be seeing Say Anything twice (!!) I can't wait, I'm far too excited right now. Expect a great deal of photos from that :)

Blue Skies

Went for a lovely picnic with my family in Mote Park on Saturday morning as the weather was absolutely gorgeous. It was so nice to explore parts of the park I haven't seen in ages.

There's something about this weather that makes me want to listen to a lot of Will Smith and really cheesy pop-punk all the time.
I love it.

That last one is my favourite.
Sometimes I do have to remind myself that I am in fact in Maidstone.

First Day of Spring

The first day of spring is one of my favourite days.
Goodbye winter blues!

Sunny days

Maidstone is remarkably warm today so I celebrated with a lovely, long walk in Mote Park.
I hate winter as much as I love spring.
I swear if human beings were able to hibernate I would.

Mote Park in the sun makes Maidstone seem less like a trashy place to live.

One of my favourite places to go in the park is the miniature railway, because, duh, it's a tiny train track, with a tiny train, and a tiny station. How could anyone not adore that?

Most of the year people seem to forget it exists so you can sit around taking weird photos and no one will bother you. My friends and I tend to have a lot of evening picnics around here because it's so quiet.

I need to use this location for an actual photo shoot sometime soon.

I'm still doing a 365 but I've felt like I haven't really made much of an effort with my photos for a while.
Today was a nice way of getting back into everything :)
